Job Summary

• The Housekeeper is accountable for cleaning resident rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, delivers flat wear linens to all neighborhoods along with washing and drying personal linen and other areas by performing the following duties.

• Supports the hospital's goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.

• Provides exceptional care and services to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.

• Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.

• Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives

Certification and Licensure

• Full time - Certified Nursing Assistant within 1 year of hire.

• Feeding Assistant Training within 1 year.

Work Schedule

• 6:30am-2:30pm, e/o wknd/hol; 30hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $17.00-$20.50 per hour
