We are looking for a full-time or part-time Housekeeper at our Tiffin Rehab Center in Tiffin, OH!

  • The hours are 8:00am-4:30pm*


  • Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment.

  • Dusting/polishing and arranging furniture or equipment.

  • Mopping and polishing floors.

  • Vacuuming carpets and draperies.

  • Scouring and sanitizing sinks, toilets, tubs and shower areas.

  • Polishing plumbing fixtures.

  • Cleaning mirrors, lighting fixtures, doors, carpets and furniture.

  • Washing or spot cleaning walls.

  • Removing stains and debris from floors, carpets and furniture.

  • Removing, transporting and disposing of trash.

  • Replenishes paper products, hand soap products and wastebasket liners as needed during routine cleaning procedures.

  • Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.


Job Requirements


  • Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.

  • Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.

  • Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.

  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

VIEW JOBS 12/29/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-28T00:00 GENERAL SUMMARY AND SCOPE Responsible for providing time-limited emergency support to children and families where the youth is experiencing severe emotional or psychiatric crisis. Services will be person-centered incorporating the strengths, abilities and resources within the family. Mobile response services include: assessment of youth/family needs that may be contributing to the crisis, development of a crisis/safety plan, and providing intensive crisis support for up to 72 hours following the crisis. Responsible to provide and/or coordinate referrals for ongoing stabilization period as appropriate to the needs and consent of the families. Activities include but are not limited to: parent education, coordinating with local wraparound services, facilitating referral/access to outpatient behavioral health treatment services, and facilitating referral/access to other social services to meet identified needs. This position is a team model, thus, cooperation with team members is critical in order to provide services that meet the needs of the program. Responsible for completing tasks specifically related to grant funding such as completion of measurement tools, outcome tools, and other required data. Services will be provided primarily at home, school, and community settings. Flexibility in scheduling is expected as services will be provided during some evening hours. ESSENTIAL TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Timely, compliant clinical documentation and billing practices as measured by: * Department standards and rules/standards set forth by Medicaid/Medicare, CARF, OhioMHAS, and HFAP. * Complying with pre-certification as required by managed care companies. * Providing services at an appropriate intensity for each patient's needs and abilities. * Completing documentation within established timeframes per departmental standards using the electronic medical record. * Utilizing the electronic medical record to manage patient care and documentation requirements. Achieves and maintains an annual productivity requirement of 1100 billable hours for the full-time position, part-time is pro-rated based on paid hours by: * Accepting all appropriate case referrals, * Scheduling an adequate number of billable service activities per working day, * Proactively seeking and utilizing supervision and tools provided for skill building in this area, and * Requesting additional cases when appropriate to augment productivity. Takes ownership for patient and referral source satisfaction by: * Returning phone calls in a timely manner, * Responding to crises in a timely manner, * With appropriate authorization communicates information to referral sources such as: assessment outcomes, progress reports, no shows, and concerns, * Actively addressing/resolving concerns as they are reported, utilizing supervisory involvement as needed, and * Ensuring that knowledge and practice is consistent with current information on treating culturally diverse individuals. Encourages patient responsibility and recovery by: * Tracking and monitoring "No Shows" and responding with interventions to remove barriers and increase engagement; encouraging meaningful vocational and/or volunteer activities to the extent the client is capable, * Utilizing current and evidenced-based interventions/protocols, * Ensuring access to resources through referral and/or advocacy, * Involving and educating family members and other natural support systems to the extent possible, * Coordinating access to crisis intervention services and providing crisis services as needed, * Accompanies clients to needed appointments, if necessary, to support their recovery. * Utilizes "MY Outcomes" or other outcome tools as required by the grant to measure client progress, and * Proactively seeks and utilizes supervision and tools for skill building in all of his/her areas of responsibility. Actively participates in and supports initiatives of all assigned programs: * Actively coordinates with PCP, case manager, school, and other involved parties as deemed necessary, * Coordinates referrals between and participating in self-help services and peer services as assigned, * Actively participates in problem-solving as needed to facilitate care coordination, and * Gathers data and participates in reporting activities as required for the grant. Regularly demonstrates the ability to serve mentally ill patients of all ages and of all cultural backgrounds in the routine performance of duties. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferred) in a behavioral health or human service field required. * CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire. * Computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize the electronic medical record are a mandatory requirement for all direct service staff and supervisory staff. * Punctual attendance at assigned work location is required. * Ability to be mobile and possesses a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request. * Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of emergency codes. * Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment.
