High school diploma or GED; one year of experience in food service; one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
Under the supervision of the Senior Residential Supervisor, the candidate will provide supports in a 12 bed intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF-IID). Prepare healthy meals for residents according to diet restrictions and approved menus. Maintain a safe and sanitary living environment by completing a daily cleaning checklist and be responsible for thoroughly cleaning each area of the home, including but not limited to: the bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas and kitchen on a routine basis.
Also responsible for maintaining a clean exterior as it pertains to removing leaves and debris from the entry ways and patios. Responsible for washing, drying, folding, and storing laundry during assigned shift. Perform other work as required.
