About this Opportunity
As a Housekeeper/Conference Set-Up, you'll be responsible for cleaning and setting up conference rooms in the Learning Center and Boathouse at our Marigold facility. You'll also be responsible for ensuring corporate facilities appropriately reflect the Herman Miller brand and for providing a superior customer experience.

Clean all common areas and storage areas at the Learning Center and Boathouse, which includes lobbies, entry ways, phone carousel, windows, and kitchen.
Complete work within scheduled hours.
Keep storage and equipment areas neat and organized. You will monitor equipment/product usage and advise the Supervisor of supplies on hand.
Maintain a complete working knowledge of cleaning products.
Operate and monitor special equipment (i.e., dishwasher and commercial vacuum).
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Provide conference room set-up at the Learning Center and Boathouse.
Take responsibility for restocking all meeting rooms and break areas as necessary.
Take responsibility for setting up conference rooms in accordance with work instructions.
Update and keep the Supervisor aware of cleaning details on a daily basis.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have...
A high school diploma or equivalent (GE), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency.
One or more years of experience cleaning in an employment setting.
The ability to be detail-oriented and to follow written diagrams and instructions.
The ability to move furniture (i.e., chairs and tables, stack and unstack chairs) with no assistance.
The ability to read and understand labels for cleaning products as well as instructions for daily cleaning and the daily agenda.
The ability to work in a changing environment and to adapt to the needs of the facility.
The ability to work with little or no supervision in a professional manner.
The ability to work a flexible schedule (mainly second shift) and be available to work weekends as required.
A willingness to provide support in various areas of the facility as needed.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
