Performs cleaning duties throughout Frontier Health facilities as scheduled. Monday - Thursday afternoons/evenings. Friday day.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Experience: Experience in commercial housekeeping preferred.
Knowledge of basic cleaning supplies, procedures and equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Written/verbal communication skills.
Vacuum cleaner, buffer, brooms, mops and any other equipment required to perform the functions of the position.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean and disinfect restrooms to include floors, mirrors, walls, toilet, sink and other items, which may be located in restrooms daily.
Maintain adequate supply of toilet tissue, towels, soap and sanitary covers in all restrooms daily.
Clean lobbies, offices, group rooms and hallways to include floors and furniture daily.
Remove trash from patient areas, kitchen, offices and restrooms daily.
Mops daily. Waxes and buffs prn.
Cleans drinking fountains daily.
Cleans office phones and handrails daily.
Cleans and properly stores housekeeping supplies and equipment in closets and locks securely after removing necessary items.
Adheres to policies and procedures concerning patient care and rights to confidentiality.
Interacts with patients in a pleasant manner, respecting therapeutic needs.
Promptly reports safety violations and unsafe conditions to building safety liaison or Corporate Safety Officer.
Reports maintenance needs in a timely manner on maintenance request forms.
Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and inservices and individual program planning staffings as needed.
