Part-Time Regular Position
1 Hour / Weekday during School Year

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, responsible for the daily cleaning of the preschool center including sanitizing bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, and vacuum carpet with periodic deep cleaning. Successful candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Daily cleaning of classrooms (90%)
Kitchen and bathroom areas, sweep and mop floor, sanitize toilets and sinks
Vacuum carpets and dust shelves
General maintenance of walls and mirrors
Restocking Bathroom towels and lotion hand soap dispensers
Periodic cleaning (5%)
Shampoo carpets and other deep cleaning
Other Duties and Responsibilities (5%)
Maintains up-to-date Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous chemicals according to OSHA laws and regulations
Participates in all staff meetings and trainings as appropriate
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience preferred
Must be able to pass a criminal record clearance
Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, carpet clearners, etc.
Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning and replacement of equipment and furnishing as needed
Dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in designated garbage containers
Handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
Must comply with all regulations, such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.
Empty trash containers daily
Wet mop floors in all classrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms daily
Sanitize wash basins, mirrors and commodes daily
Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor, such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window pane, etc.
Wash windows as scheduled
Carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
Read a variety of materials such as work procedures, safety rules, memos, etc.
Meet deadlines and work under tight time schedules
Work independently and with minimal direct supervision
Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services

Required Physical Activities:
Must be able to frequently reach, grasp, finger various objects of varying sizes
Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, push and pull
Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours at a time, walk, talk and hear
Must be able to occasionally lift and move boxes and/or cleaning products that weigh up to 30 pounds
The work environment is in preschool classroom and/or Administrative office, adult and children's bathrooms, small to medium sized kitchen, standard height counters, and shelving from floor to ceiling. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to quiet.
Travels between agency locations in Calaveras County and in and out of the area as agency requires under all weather conditions.
Must have Valid California Driver's License
Must submit proof of current automobile insurance coverage
Must successfully pass a Live Scan and other background checks as required by licensing agency and funders
Must successfully pass a Health Assessment as required
Must submit proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) screening
Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel, as agency requires
