Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper on the evening shift to join our team. Monday- Friday from 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.

Responsibilities

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital and/or patient housing in a thorough and professional manner. This position is an important part of our team because you will keep the patient's room clean so the patient/family will focus on healing. Cleaning services include but are not limited to sweeping, damp mopping and waxing floors; vacuuming rugs, carpets, upholstery and draperies; dust furniture, washes walls, ceilings, air vents, woodwork, blinds, windows, door panels and base boards, disinfecting horizontal, vertical, equipment, and high touch areas according to departmental policies.

High School diploma preferred

Experience

1 year experience preferred

Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
