Schedule: 0.001 (PRN-Per Diem), Shift: As Needed

POSITION SUMMARY:

According to established procedures and under direct supervision cleans, sanitizes, organizes and services the facility building areas in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Ability to understand and communicate in English and to follow verbal instructions when following work assignments, to read in order to interpret labels when preparing cleaning solutions and efficiently follow work assignments, and to write in order to complete activity logs and participate in in-service education training sessions.

Interpersonal skills necessary to be courteous to patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping tasks.

Ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail.

Supports the business development activities of the organization. Music Therapists provide bereavement counseling to family members as identified. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy. Board Certified as a Music Therapist by the Certification Board for Music Therapy.* Hospice and Palliative Care Music Therapist preferred. Previous experience with terminally ill patients/families is highly desirable. Must have reliable automobile, valid driver's license and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
