Job Description:

A private couple with a formal home situated on a beautiful property in Greenwich, CT, is seeking an experienced and dedicated housekeeper to join their household staff. The successful candidate will work alongside the couple’s long-term housekeeper, who has been with the family for over 25 years, to ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
• Care for delicate fabrics and handle special laundry requirements.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
• Assist with occasional deep cleaning tasks.
• Ensure all household supplies are stocked and organized.
• Work collaboratively with the long-term housekeeper to maintain the home’s formal standards.
• Adhere to the household’s specific cleaning protocols and preferences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper in a formal home environment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent cleaning skills.
• Ability to handle laundry and ironing with precision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Friendly and cooperative attitude, with the ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility in hours and tasks as needed.
