Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) typically services long term care and nursing facilities and is now hiring a Light Housekeeper in your area! HCSG has a custom, state of the art training program!

Position Summary

  • Performs housekeeping and cleaning activities within well established guidelines and assigned areas and shift(s) to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.

  • The light housekeeper is responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule.

  • Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.

  • The light housekeeper performs a variety of tasks, such as dust mopping and damp mopping floors in all areas including entry ways, corridors, etc. Is responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.

  • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms including sinks, tubs, floors and commodes.

  • Is responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient room furniture, as well as sitting room and dining room furniture.

  • Removes and disposes of trash and relieves laundry staff as needed, and performs all other related duties as assigned.

  • Represents HCSG in a positive manner; is able to follow oral instructions, is pleasant, tactful and courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers and client staff

  • Interacts appropriately with residents, client, other personnel, supervisor and the public.

  • Responds to customer preferences, complies with industry and federal and state guidelines, and meets the needs of residents.

  • Must respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Follows infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that a sanitary environment is maintained at all times. Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques.

  • The light housekeeper consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with others.

  • Ability to cooperate with co-workers, residents, and facility staff.

  • Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.

  • After the training period is completed, must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals.

  • Must be able to fully understand and complete all in-services.

  • Must be able to be at work as schedule on time.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

  • Must live in service area. No relocation costs.

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 SUMMARY: the Supervisor, Manufacturing Consumable will be responsible for * Effective and Efficient supervision of all personnel, equipment and tools utilized for manufacturing * Understands all aspects of the production process * Maintains and updates manufacturing procedures, individual training plans, worksheets and processes to ensure compliance to cGMP and QSR requirements for the manufacture of In-Vitro diagnostic products * Leads and engages production team employees, plans, coordinates, and supervises the daily activities of their assigned department to ensure efficient production. * Ensures the proper systems and resources are in place to meet production schedules on time * Product is manufactured to specification and in accordance with SOP's, cGMP's, and safety procedures Key Responsibilities & Duties * Supervises, coordinates and controls the production and operating activities to ensure optimum utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment to meet production schedule. * Develops information and compiles reports concerning scheduling, production goals, equipment and maintenance problems and other studies or reports as requested. * Runs daily start of shift production meetings to successfully drive Production requirements * Maintains compliance with company policies, cGMP's, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. * Ensures batch record compliance by performing Batch Record review, including prioritization, reviewing corrections, and following up to ensure timely completion. * Develops department employees through onboarding, training/coaching, performance management establishment of objectives, communication of policies and procedures while maintaining employee productivity and motivation. * Evaluates the performance and production of staff; maintains records on performance. * Ensures compliance with QSR * Actively involved in scrap reduction initiatives and goals * Responsible for meeting production goals and objectives * Ensure manufacturing equipment is maintained and calibrated. * Coordinating and communicating cross-functionally with Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, QA, and Quality Control organizations to resolve issues and keep production running with high Quality * Performs/ensures investigations and document corrections/modifications are done effectively and in a timely manner. * Assists in the oversight of day to day operations in the manufacturing department on an assigned shift * Communicates the company vision and culture through words and actions, models company values * Creates shift report daily for assigned area. * Perform Transactions in the Inventory Control Systems (ORACLE) on a timely basis. * Ensure unit compliance and influence operational compliance with the Luminex Quality System including FDA, and ISO 13485:2016 requirements. * Collect, analyze, disseminate, and presents key performance indicators (KPI's) from assigned manufacturing area. Performs other related duties as assigned Education & Experience * Minimum BS Science/Industrial Technology or equivalent * Minimum 3-5 years' supervisory experience in direct manufacturing role. * Some supervision of Direct Labor and management of an assembly line or lab related field preferred * Experience in a cGMP and QSR regulated environment Training, Skills and Certifications/Licenses: * Process improvement experience * Ability to adhere to written production records and validation protocols. * Knowledge of Materials Management * Familiarity with an ERP system, Oracle considered a plus * Highly organized with proven time management and prioritization skills * Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision * Strong problem solving skills WORK CONDITIONS * Must work onsite at Luminex office * Travel may be required at least 10% of the time * Possible exposure to Chemicals, Lasers,Excessive Noise, etc. * Physical Demands: All positions requirestanding, stooping, bending, climbing, sitting, kneeling, and lifting at least10 lbs.
