Pioneer Health & Rehab is currently seeking a temporary Part-time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide.
AM shift, 56 hours every two weeks
To provide and maintain a clean, safe, odor free and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors according to established policies, procedures and objective.
Special Features/Requirements (license, certificates, etc):
Previous housekeeping experience preferred., Follows/adheres to organization, federal/state regulations and guidelines, including Resident/Client Rights. Maintains well groomed appearance, adhering to dress code of organization/program.
Cleaning of resident rooms for move-in and move-outs, common areas, bathrooms, furniture/furnishings according to job policies and procedures.
Follows manufacture procedural guidelines when using tools
Operation of equipment and handling chemicals
Must be able to read and understand labeling along with the Material Safety Date Sheet
Removal of debris and soiled linen
Has access to confidential information/records and maintains confidentiality
Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
Notify supervisor of the product needs of department to ensure sufficient supplies are available
Must be able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, public
Physical Requirements (based on essential functions):
Frequently pushes/pulls housekeeping carts weighing up 300#; frequently carries under 10#, occasionally carried 10-25#, reaches above, at or below shoulder height frequently; stoops, bends, twists, occasionally lifts pails of water weighing up to 50#; occasionally works on step ladder; climbs stairs; occasionally kneels or squats; 50% of work day is spent walking; 50%0 standing.
