The House Supervisor will facilitate and mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills.

In addition, the House Supervisor will continuously assess nursing unit needs to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming shifts by collaborating with other departments, clinical and nonclinical, to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients in a timely manner. #Finally, the House Supervisor will demonstrate professionalism at all times and will uphold standards of practice by holding team members accountable for continued compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES # Professional practice Adheres to organizational policies and procedures Adheres to professional guidelines for practice such as state board of nurses, American Nurses Association (ANA) professional standards of care and ethical practice guidelines Collaborates with other departments in a professional manner as needed to provide patient-centered care Demonstrates effective communication, conflict resolution, team building, and leadership skills Participates in updating and upholding standards of practice and be a role model to others for maintaining standards of care Quality Reports significant events such as near misses, adverse events, patient/family complaints, and any situation that affects the safe delivery of patient-centered care in a timely manner Is proactive, rounds with team members on the nursing units, and identifies opportunities for improvement Ensures that handoff communication occurs any time there is a change in caregivers on the unit during shift and at start/end of shifts Assists units with problem solving activity such as, assignments and delegation of patient care tasks as appropriate, considering staff members# level of nursing experience, competency, and knowledge Delegates tasks to unlicensed support staff as outlined by state board regulations and facility policies as appropriate to the clinical situation Assists in monitoring staff performance, behaviors, and competency for performance reviews Ensures that all infection control precautions and procedures are followed in the department Finance Ensures that appropriate staffing levels meet patient care needs Assists with Materials supply for departments after hours Service Assists other team members by providing direct patient care as needed Assigns and coordinates patient flow to deliver safe and effective patient-centered care Performs other specific department tasks as assigned by members of the department#s leadership team Rounds with patients and family members to ensure that needs are met and identifies opportunities for improvement# Professional Development Participates in continuing education activities within the department and organization Promotes, facilitates, and educates team members on new practice changes, regulatory requirements, And organizational practice changes in a timely manner Coach/Mentor staff members on the unit regarding safe high-quality nursing practice Attends and actively participates in House Supervisor meetings MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current WY state nursing license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate; PALS or ENPC Preferred baccalaureate degree in nursing; willing to complete in 5 years if does not have baccalaureate degree. Provides leadership and supervision to utility and/or contractor construction crews. Responsible for planning and coordinating manpower and equipment needs to facilitate new construction and maintenance/upgrades to existing systems in a safe and cost-effective manner in compliance with company and industry standards. Minimum Qualifications: • Must possess a working knowledge of gas and/or electric utility operations at a level normally acquired through an Associate's Degree with strong technical emphasis or four years related experience. * Two years of experience in the construction and maintenance of related facilities. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in business or engineering disciplines and prior leadership experience. Job Responsibliites 1. Supervises assigned construction and maintenance projects to comply with established codes and standards of the Company and to meet state and federal regulations. This includes but is not necessarily limited to the following: a. Provides safe working conditions and equipment on the job and enforces safety rule to prevent injury. b. Plans, schedules and coordinates projects with supervisor and engineering staff and providing input to budget process. c. Prepares paperwork and obtaining approvals; arranges for materials; provides progress updates. d. Inspects or provides for on-site inspection while maintenance work is being done to ensure that proper procedures are followed and quality of work is to proper codes and standards. e. Monitors manpower, expenditures and timelines to assure that projects are completed on time and on budget. f. Provides safe working conditions and equipment on the job and enforces safety rules to prevent injury. g. Maintains positive relations and contact with landowners, associated companies which may be involved with respective projects. 2. Assures that assigned employees are operator qualified and/or licensed to do assigned tasks. Provides appropriate training and documentation to comply with company and local, state and federal requirements. 3. Supplies data to appropriate personnel to keep maps and files up-to-date and accurate. 4. Provides documentation related to construction to appropriate departments in timely manner to assure compliance. 5. Qualifies or participates in the testing of employees/contract welders to ensure codes are met. 6. Maintains high ethical standards as a responsibility and a commitment to customers, community and company. 7. Maintains awareness of related industry trends, new or changed regulations and standards and new technology developments. 8. Supervises and evaluates assigned crew members to maximize productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. 9. Accepts "Supervisor On Call Duty" as assigned. 10. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
