Responsible for overall quality assessment and disposition of final products via the verification of approval or approval of manufacturing documentation including all deviations, laboratory documentation, sterilization documentation and manufacturing procedures. Responsible for ensuring all holds have been resolved. Responsible for the final review and release of each assigned product manufactured at Union, SC. Provides support to Management in the collection and processing of data for routine KPI reporting. Provides administrative support for the quality documentation system. Maintains active files for plant documents and manages document-archiving activities. Compiles all batch record documentation in preparation for product release for the site. Ensures information is all present, accurate and meets the product/regulatory & quality requirements prior to release. Prepare issue and distribute Manufacturing Work Orders and batch record documentation to manufacturing and laboratory departments. Responsible for keeping procedure revisions current at the applicable points-of-use throughout the plant. As needed, assist personnel at the site with processing procedural revisions and protocols in the documentation management system. Generates and issues labeling for manufacturing process. Final review and disposition of sterilization cycles and batch records for release of product. Required to investigate and report any discrepancies or issues. Performs chemical and component reconciliation and review prior to release of product Prepares Certificates of Analysis for finished products. Responsible for final release and distribution of batch documentation of finished products. Assists manufacturing and QA with investigations. Assist in reviewing and developing new processes to create department efficiencies. Perform audits that consist of reviewing procedures for completeness, accuracy and compliance to site cGMPs, and regulatory commitments. Provide support during facility audits by regulatory agencies. Requirements: Bachelor degree in Business or relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) preferred. 3 - 5 years' experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or related FDA regulated industry. Must be skilled and competent with Microsoft Office, computer knowledge or experience with document control software and enterprise resource planning software.
