House Coordinators have the opportunity earn up to $800 in bonuses after 12 months!!

As a House Coordinator you will provide supervision, training, work direction and coaching to Direct Service Professionals that align with regulations and agency contracts. You will ensure that staffing levels are adequate for program and client needs and in accordance with the program budget. You will provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security and safety through relationship building and direct interaction with program individuals. You will support and advocate for people how to complete essential living skills independently, ensure that needs related to health and wellness are met and align with LSS's My Life My Choices philosophy. You will transport people to various community events, outings and appointments as needed.

In this role, you will also be responsible for program management, ensuring that all program policies and procedures are followed and that all Direct Support Professionals are aware of and follow the various components of each individual's plan of service. You will develop and maintain positive working relationships with counties, families and stakeholders and serve as the on-site contact between medical personnel, each person's support team and other relevant persons. You will also be responsible for the financial management of the program. You will develop and oversee the program budget and maintain and track accounts payable/payroll records and monitor petty cash and individual accounts. Although the hours for this position are primarily Monday-Friday, the expectation is that you will be available as needed for emergencies and to meet the needs of the program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Five years of experience working with vulnerable populations. With an Associate's degree in social work, psychology or a related field, two years of experience is needed. If a college degree or a Designated Coordinator certificate is held, one year of experience is required.

  • Experience in a supervisory capacity is desired.

  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and a Motor Vehicle Check.

  • Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.

  • Computer and math skills.

  • Able to read, write, solve problems and the ability to accept/follow through with directions.

  • Able to recognize boundaries and exhibit patience, self-control and flexibility.

  • Working knowledge of the regulations that govern our services.

  • Training in supervisory skills, team building, challenging behaviors and leadership is desired.

  • CPR/First Aid certification and Medication Administration training; may be obtained after hire.

Must have the ability to think in abstract terms, solve complex problems and apply troubleshooting skills. * Maintain mechanical power transmission equipment including drives and conveying equipment employed in a variety of factory specific applications. Fluid systems, including liquid, pneumatic, and hydraulic, will be maintained by the Mechanic. Fluid systems include pumps, valves, compressors, blowers, and fans. Fluid flow principles and requirements must be understood to troubleshoot system operation. The Mechanic will be required to perform a variety of joining and fabrication activities. To that extent, individuals will weld, cut, braze, and solder a variety of materials. This includes welding carbon steel using the SMAW and GMAW processes and welding stainless steel metals using the SMAW process. Minimum Requirements * Must possess a 2-year technical degree in a related field, OR must have fully completed a state-approved millwright apprenticeship (non-ACS) AND a minimum of 2 years of full-time industrial millwright experience. Industrial millwright experience is defined in the "Minimum Qualification Essential Functions" section and includes installing, maintaining and repairing most types of industrial mechanical equipment; setting of many types of conveyors; laser coupling alignment; precision optical leveling and alignment; layout, fabrication and installation of production equipment; and welding. OR * A High School degree or diploma although a GED certificate is acceptable and a minimum of 5 consecutive years of full-time industrial millwright experience.
