House Coordinators have the opportunity earn up to $800 in bonuses after 12 months!!
As a House Coordinator you will provide supervision, training, work direction and coaching to Direct Service Professionals that align with regulations and agency contracts. You will ensure that staffing levels are adequate for program and client needs and in accordance with the program budget. You will provide guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security and safety through relationship building and direct interaction with program individuals. You will support and advocate for people how to complete essential living skills independently, ensure that needs related to health and wellness are met and align with LSS's My Life My Choices philosophy. You will transport people to various community events, outings and appointments as needed.
In this role, you will also be responsible for program management, ensuring that all program policies and procedures are followed and that all Direct Support Professionals are aware of and follow the various components of each individual's plan of service. You will develop and maintain positive working relationships with counties, families and stakeholders and serve as the on-site contact between medical personnel, each person's support team and other relevant persons. You will also be responsible for the financial management of the program. You will develop and oversee the program budget and maintain and track accounts payable/payroll records and monitor petty cash and individual accounts. Although the hours for this position are primarily Monday-Friday, the expectation is that you will be available as needed for emergencies and to meet the needs of the program.
Five years of experience working with vulnerable populations. With an Associate's degree in social work, psychology or a related field, two years of experience is needed. If a college degree or a Designated Coordinator certificate is held, one year of experience is required.
Experience in a supervisory capacity is desired.
A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and a Motor Vehicle Check.
Successfully meet the requirements of a background check.
Computer and math skills.
Able to read, write, solve problems and the ability to accept/follow through with directions.
Able to recognize boundaries and exhibit patience, self-control and flexibility.
Working knowledge of the regulations that govern our services.
Training in supervisory skills, team building, challenging behaviors and leadership is desired.
CPR/First Aid certification and Medication Administration training; may be obtained after hire.
