    Responsibilities The Hourly Data Analyst II will work in the Public Health Information Group (PHIG) in the Office of Science to assist with analysis of cancer data and other major data sets, develop and build analytical programs for cleaning, formatting and validating results, participate in developing and updating cancer data dashboard and data reports. The incumbent will use analytic software and visualization tools to perform data analysis and evaluation for cancer performance measures. Specifically, the incumbent will: help process and analyze cancer data using analytic software (e.g., SAS, Excel, Tableau), including data cleaning, data quality check and data validation help develop major performance measures for cancer data dashboard assist in reviewing and maintaining cancer dashboard Minimum Qualifications Current graduate student in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field; prior experience in using Excel and SAS Preferred Qualifications Experience with data management and analysis; experience in maintaining and updating databases; proficient in Microsoft Office:

    Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; attention to detail; excellent written and oral communication skills. Conditions of Employment Grant funded, hourly position expected to last through 05/02/2025. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

    Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

    Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location.

    Telecommuting will be available. This position may require occasional work on weekends and after-hours. HRI participates in the E-Verify Program.
