The position is responsible for supervisingthe daily operations in all departments of the hotel to ensure product quality,cleanliness, guest satisfaction; safety and security meet company standards.



  • Assistthe General Manager with supervision of the daily operations in everydepartment to ensure policies and procedures are executed by employees thatwill maximize revenue

  • Trainfront desk staff to perform all front desk operations successfully, to includerevenue management and central reservations procedures

  • Performguest experience representative, night auditor, housekeeping, and maintenanceduties as required by staffing levels and business demand

Financial Results:

  • Assistthe General Manager in preparing employee work schedules

  • Directemployees to adhere to the posted schedules to effectively manage labor costs;adjust schedules as needed in response to business trends

  • Performroutine inventory and ordering procedures to ensure sufficient tools, suppliesand linens are available while maintaining effective cost controls

  • Followcompany policies and procedures to protect our guests and employees whilemitigating potential risk and expenses

Guest Satisfaction:

  • Inspectguests rooms daily to ensure cleanliness and process standards meet companyguidelines

  • Visuallyinspect maintenance, laundry and public areas of the hotel to ensure guest satisfactionis achieved

  • Respondto housekeeping, laundry and maintenance requests from guests or GeneralManager as required to achieve Here For You service expectations for everyguest

  • Assistin handling difficult situations involving upset guests. Attempt to resolve all issues of poor guestservice in the most effective manner before guests leave the property

  • Ensuresatisfactory Medallia (i.e., guest satisfaction survey) scores and take actionto correct any deficiencies in all departments in the hotel

Employee Satisfaction:

  • Supportthe recruitment, selection, training and management of employees to deliverexceptional guest services and product quality in accordance with companystandards

  • Properlyadminister company policies and procedures for human resources management,payroll administration, personnel transactions and fair treatment of employees

  • Provideleadership by conducting business in a professional manner and in accordancewith all company policies including standards of conduct

  • Conducteffective, daily employee huddles as requested by the General Manager

  • Helpthe General Manager maintain an acceptable level of employee turnover byproviding a Here for You employee experience


  • Completeassignments or special projects Manager given by the General Manager orRegional Ops Leader for the purpose of gaining additional knowledge andexperience

Job Summary Promote staff engagement and team work to provide optimum service so that guest needs are met in the Rooms and Food & Beverage operations. Within Food and Beverage operations: Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs. Within Guest Services and Rooms operations: Inspect public areas, restrooms, fitness center, pool area, offices and service areas after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards are met. Arrange turndown for VIPs/any package inclusive rates, etc. Communicate additions or changes to the assignment sheets to staff (e.g., Housekeeping) as they arise throughout the shift. Monitor the notations in MARSHA and clear all exceptions. Keep records of Marriott Rewards enrollments and Front Office incentive programs. Review and maintain all Market Rate Codes. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks. Process guest check-ins and promote room up-sales. Ensure rates match market codes and that any exceptions are documented. Ensure checks that come from outlets (e.g., Health Club, Retail Shop) are scanned and charged to room. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
