The hotel houseman performs routine duties in the cleaning and maintaining all common areas and any area in the hotel which may be assigned. He or she supplies their area with items that are required for the convenience and comfort of the guest. All functions are carried out to maintain an environment of cleanliness, teamwork and first class customer service. The houseman candidate we are searching out has a warm and friendly personality that puts our customers at ease and sets expectations of excellence in guest room/hotel cleanliness.
The ideal houseman candidate has a high school diploma/GED (on-the-job training and experience combination may substitute for education requirement), prior hotel/cleaning experience, an ability to lift 25 pounds, be able to stand for long periods of time, and is willing/able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
