Hotel General Manager

Hotel June West L.A. is seeking a dynamic Hotel General Manager to take the helm at our ideally located 250-room re-imagined property featuring two restaurants, creative event venues and a spectacular pool deck. Hotel June is the flagship of a new thoughtful, accessible, lifestyle brand from the team that brought you Proper Hotels.

This role requires a leader who can maintain the highest standards of service excellence, oversee all aspects of hotel management and ensure that our brand values and vision are reflected consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided

• Manage and lead the team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration and excellence

• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies that align with the Hotel June West L.A.'s goals

• Maintain strong relationships with guests, handle guest issues efficiently and exceed guest satisfaction goals

• Control budgets and financial plans to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted

• Stay current with trends in the hotel industry and local market to steer activities that bolster the hotel's performance. -

• Collaborate with marketing to drive occupancy rates and promote our hotel's unique attributes

• Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry

• Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data-driven economic principles

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate and lead a team

• Superior problem solving and decision-making skills

• Strong communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
