Company Overview: Hyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Hotel F&B Lead. We are located in the in the heart of downtown and home to the Green Bay Packers. The hotel is minutes away from major sporting events, cultural activities, entertainment, museums, and attractions. We are the largest, full-service hotel in the market with 241 all-suite guest rooms and 80,000 square feet of space.

Goals of the Food and Beverage Lead: Support leadership by developing and assuming basic leadership responsibilities. This role is responsible for leading other associates by coaching, giving direction and training colleagues, so they can thrive at work! The F&B Lead must demonstrate fundamental F&B knowledge and ensure that each outlet and banquet event is equipped with the essential supplies. The lead is also responsible for the overall success of service and is expected to maintain a strong presence on the floor.

This position plays a significant role in the overall performance of the Food and Beverage team which includes product quality and service standards. Food and Beverage Lead Detailed Description:

  • Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of functions and meetings while maintaining standards of food, beverage and meeting specifications.

  • Maintain a positive, high energy attitude with a professional appearance.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Responsible for general banquet setup preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

  • Assist with setup of linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service.

  • Develop innovative and creative décor for Banquet function space.

  • Responsible for short-term banquet functions in the front and back of house.

  • Greet guests and maintain a strong presence on the floor.

  • Foster an atmosphere where guests' need, and satisfaction take top priority, creating memorable experiences for our guests.

  • Ensure staff are consistent with guest service.

  • Foster a professional teamwork mentality among the staff and enforce a professional demeanor at all times with guests.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, continuously walk throughout the building, and lift 10-20lbs.

  • Support implementation and reinforce hotel standards in food and beverage service and product presentation.

  • Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a flexible work schedule with availability to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • A minimum of 1 year of hotel or restaurant management or leadership, preferred

  • 2 years of hotel and/or food & beverage experience, preferred

  • Strong food, N/A beverage, and alcohol knowledge

  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to exceed standards and expectations, as well as strong relationship skill

  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment

  • Strong time management & multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure

  • Enthusiasm and a hands-on mentality

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • Expert knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
