It is the responsibility of the Hotel Controller to oversee and administer all aspects and functionality of the Non-Gaming Audit and Accounts Receivable Departments. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee Night Audit in the performance of daily audit work and compilation of numbers for the daily operating report
Oversee Accounts Receivable in ensuring timely and accurate group billings
Maintain constant awareness and control over daily credit card chargebacks
Manage the month-end closing of hotel, food and beverage, entertainment, and other non-gaming revenue centers
Review supporting documentation for assigned balance sheet accounts
Manage and administer all aspects of comp accounting
Respond to questions and requests of the Gaming Control Board and any other applicable regulatory agency
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Department of Finance and/or VP of Finance

Knowledge of accounting / auditing functions.
Knowledge of Gaming Control Board Minimum Internal Control Standards related to Live Entertainment.
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
Must be able to successfully register with the NV Gaming Control Board.
Constantly planning, making decisions, prioritizing workload, working at various tempos, reading, working under a deadline.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's or related degree preferred
5-10 years progressive experience, including holding managerial roles, in or related to Hotel, Food and Beverage and other Non-Gaming accounting.
Minimum age requirement is 21
