Hot Molding Technician (1St Shift); Manufacturing, Omniseal Solutions, Mobility

Position Description

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Molding Technician will produce quality product according to production schedule, assist in basic mold changes, process hot molded material per the work order instructions and other duties assigned to the individual as needed. The main purpose of this position is to expose and develop the individual until they are able to attain the required proficiency of a Molding Technician.

Schedule: Monday

• Thursday | 5:00AM - 3:30PM - Overtime is required

• Manufacturing experience

• Able to contribute to the 5s initiate.

• Strong mechanic aptitude.

• Able to use tape measure, tooling, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

• Fork Lift Certified (preferred).

• Able to interpret router per work order instructions.

• Proficient in power tools usage (grinders and power tools).

• Duties include cleaning of toolings, weight materials, operating press, loading and unloading oven.

• Works in a team environment, strong work ethic, and a self starter.

• Must adhere to all quality and safety policy procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• 2 to 5 years production experience

• Basic molding knowledge

This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $41,600 to $54,080. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.]
