THE JOB:

As a Host at Coraline's, you play a pivotal role in shaping our guests' dining experiences from the moment they arrive. With your warm smile and courteous demeanor, you will set the stage for exceptional hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and special throughout their visit.

STARTING PAY: $13.71 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, providing a memorable first impression as you greet them and assist with reservations or seating arrangements.

• Engage with guests attentively, listening to their stories, preferences, and special requests to personalize their experience and exceed their expectations.

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the front-of-house area to uphold Coraline's high standards of presentation and ambiance.

• Collaborate closely with food servers, bus persons, and food runners, sharing relevant guest information and ensuring seamless communication to enhance the dining experience.

• Assist with various tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the restaurant and contribute to a positive work environment for the entire team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality with a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests of diverse backgrounds and make them feel valued and appreciated.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
