Overview

The Host position greets the customer immediately when they enter Hooters. This is a part-time position. This position must possess a personal and energetic personality to welcome and seat guests ensuring their needs are accommodated. The Host recognizes and knows how to assist parties with children, large parties, businessmen/women and all other types of people that enter Hooters doors. The Host controls the flow of the restaurant through seating and to alleviate Hooters Girls from getting multiple tables at one time to ensure each guest gets an excellent service experience. The Host must be aware of new menu items and specials and be able to answer all questions about the menu. The Host may also act as the person responsible for To Go Orders and selling of Merchandise. The Host follows up with guests as they are leaving to ensure they had a great experience and reminds them of events to come back for. They are attentive to the FOH atmosphere and ensure that the lighting, music volume, and overall cleanliness are all being kept up for a great first impression. This includes working cross functionally and responsibility for effectively managing and utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Senior Analyst, to execute and facilitate the sourcing process with the business unit team. Responsibilities: * Manages the team by prioritizing the work, balancing capacity and demand, guiding the team in their work, managing their work performance and providing professional development opportunities to build an agile workforce. * Builds and maintains relationships with internal ESS stakeholders, cross-functional stakeholders (Risk, Legal, etc.) and external stakeholders (vendors, technology partners, etc.) to drive successful outcomes. Successfully manages conflict and trade-offs between stakeholders in a positive manner that drives continued engagement. * Balances the right mix of independent and collaborative work to achieve high quality and timely results for and from the team. * Creates and delivers formal and informal communications to drive transparency with stakeholders, including ESS and non-ESS leadership, in a manner that builds positive team engagement. * Develops team goals, objectives and supporting cross-functional program/project plans to deliver the key team activities of strategic sourcing, technology and process improvement efforts. Proactively manages the program/project to successfully realize the benefits of the workstreams. * Leads the Event Team to ensure solid execution of strategic sourcing events (RFP, RFI, RFQ, bid optimizations, contract negotiations, market analysis, reverse auctions, etc.) in partnership with the business, other ESS members, suppliers and other key internal stakeholders (Legal, Risk Management, etc.). Manages the team to lead the development, roll out and continuous improvement of sourcing processes and best practices. * Works within the appropriate sourcing tools to manage, oversee and gain visibility to project team efforts, and manage savings and annual functional plans. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field * 6+ years of Procurement, Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Consulting or Sales; * Demonstrated experience performing or leading strategic sourcing events; * Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams and resources; * Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating at the executive level; * Demonstrated understanding of the source-to-pay lifecycle processes; * Proficient with MS Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Business Administration * 8+ years of Procurement, Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Consulting or Sales; * Experience with e-Procurement tools; * Professional certification e.g., CPSM, C.P.M., PMP, etc.; * Experience in change management execution; * Experience in multiple indirect spend categories About Lowe's Lowe's Companies, Inc.
