Purpose of the Position

As a Hostess, you are the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless seating arrangements. Your role is essential in delivering the hospitality and service that define Amalfi Llama.

Essential Job Functions

• Embody our core values of hospitality, teamwork, and professionalism.

• Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests upon arrival.

• Manage reservations and coordinate seating to optimize the dining experience.

• Maintain an organized and accurate waitlist, ensuring timely guest seating.

• Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and management to facilitate smooth operations.

• Assist in maintaining the overall ambiance and cleanliness of the entrance and waiting areas.

• Uphold Amalfi Llama's brand standards and commitment to exceptional guest service.

Daily Position Duties

• Welcome and seat guests according to restaurant flow.

• Maintain an organized seating chart and reservation system.

• Manage waitlists and communicate accurate wait times to guests.

• Assist with guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.

• Ensure the front-of-house area remains clean, stocked, and presentable.

• Support the front-of-house team with additional tasks as needed.

Weekly/Monthly Duties

• Monitor and update reservation systems.

• Provide feedback on guest experiences and recommend improvements.

• Assist in organizing host stand supplies and front-of-house operations.

• Support management in creating a seamless dining experience for guests.
