Exela Technologies is looking to fill a Customer Service Associate Hospitality in Troy, MI. The shift for this position will be 7:30AM- 4:30PM, working Monday Friday.

In addition to being organized and able to multitask, this role requires a go-getter with a positive work ethic who is excited to work with the leading provider of innovative, cloud-based solutions in the document outsourcing industry.

So what will you actually be doing?

With a strong attention to detail, this role will facilitate a variety of hospitality tasks to ensure high levels of customer service in a fast paced environment.

A Customer Service Associate's daily tasks will involve:

Hospitality tasks

  • Stocking the break area with refreshments and general supplies

  • Making coffee first thing in the morning and throughout the day

  • Monitoring the area throughout the day to keep it clean

  • Clean out the coffee pots at the end of the day

  • Fill and put out snack baskets for morning and afternoon snacks

  • Collecting weekly headcount

  • Figuring out and posting lunch schedule

  • Communicating and posting lunch schedule

  • Setting up lunch area for employees and guests

  • Maintain a clean work and break area

  • Tracking condiment levels and expiration dates

  • Clean out fridge on Friday afternoons

Stock Room Inventory

  • Take inventory of supply closets

  • Identifying when new supplies need to be ordered

  • Straightening closets and keeping them orderly

  • Receiving shipments of materials and stocking shelves

  • Determine how much of each supply needs to be ordered

Assist with classroom preparation

  • Training materials for classes (supplies, pens, pads, water bottles)

  • Print Name Tents (Word/PPT skills)

  • Print and assemble Lanyards (Word/PPT skills)

  • Print and update training room signs (Word/PPT skills)

  • Provide weekly schedule of activities to Denise

  • Room break down

  • Clean up room

  • Put away materials

  • Ship student materials to students

The following is required:

  • Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience

  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

The key responsibilities of the Sales Manager are to oversee, perform and manage activities relating to the successful leasing of apartments to ensure attainment of budgeted occupancy and Net Operating Income. This includes but is not limited to; developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating meaningful business relationships through large-scale corporate outreach efforts, conducting quality sales interactions over the phone and in-person as well as managing and developing a sales team. Responsibilities and Duties * Develops and trains the Sales teams to be proficient in property systems and successful in reaching all sales goals. Leads a high-performing team through effective recruitment, coaching, mentoring and development efforts, regularly conducts staff meetings and holds one-on-one conversations to solicit feedback from the team; and displays integrity by ensuring processes, procedures and practices affecting the team are completed in a timely manner. * Presents the community, model apartments, vacant apartments and amenities to prospective residents in a professional and knowledgeable manner; offers a timely response and follows-up with prospective residents. * Identifies opportunities for large-scale outreach initiatives by targeting nearby companies and establishing professional relationships to promote the apartment community as a benefit/amenity to their employees. Attends local networking and chamber events, and constantly promotes awareness about the surrounding community. * Provides thorough knowledge to prospective residents on the apartment, community and local area; conducts monthly sub-market competitor analysis, as well as quarterly marketing report package to understand and become an expert on area competitors. Makes recommendations based on data collected to ensure that the apartment community is always competitive within their respective sub-market. * Conducts regular audits of all ILS and other online advertising sources to guarantee thorough and up-to-date information is being presented that is consistent with the City Club Apartments brand. Makes frequent use of free advertising platforms such as Craigslist, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and offers recommendations for enhancement based on current trends and competition. * Leads by example through consistent performance in closing sales and demonstrates a sense of urgency with prospective and current residents in answering phone calls, responding to emails and following-up on inquiries or addressing concerns. * Collaborates with Property Manager and Service Manager. Embraces a team mentality by communicating openly and frequently to ensure the highest level of service is afforded to all prospects and residents both current and future. * Conducts and follows-up on leads for new sales opportunities with realtors, locators, corporate housing providers and potential business relationships. Holds fellow sales associates accountable for meeting the company expectation for individual, monthly outreach efforts. * Processes all rental applications for approval; verifies all pertinent information and submits to manager for approval; prepares lease for future resident. * Ensures that the sales office, models, vacant apartments and common areas meet the Company's standards. Personally, inspects apartments before move-in, and reports deficiencies to the Property Manager. * Demonstrates responsible recordkeeping in maintaining resident information, ensures sales reports are accurate, and commission records are always current. * Assists residents and their guests in a courteous and efficient manner; and plays a vital role in ensuring overall resident satisfaction. * Maintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contacts. * Maintains consistent and timely attendance, sets an example for their co-workers in punctuality. * Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills * High school diploma is required. Post-Secondary education or degree is preferred. * Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant sales experience. * Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading a team. * Previous employment within a sales-commission role is required. * Previous experience in an upscale apartment community, hotel or retail environment. * Availability to work a flexible schedule; any day of the week including weekends. * Leasing license or obtain within 120 days of employment if required by state law (if applicable). * Ability to write and communicate professionally in English. * Ability to demonstrate intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Ability to demonstrate familiarity and understanding of major social media platforms. * Ability to apply sound decision-making when assisting residents and their guests. * Ability to lead a team while meeting personal sales goals and expectations. * Ability to resolve residents concerns while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. * Ability to demonstrate customer service skills by engaging the residents in conversation to identify their needs or concerns. * Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. * Ability to communicate professionally and adapt interpersonal skills to a variety of audiences. * Ability to demonstrate teamwork by assisting and communicating with co-workers.
