The Position:

Tishman Speyer is looking to hire warm, out-going, authentic, curious individuals to help elevate our culture of hospitality across our New York City portfolio and Rockefeller Center Campus. As a Hospitality Assistant you are the face of the Tishman Speyer's culture and the first impression to all incoming clients and guests. Our Hospitality Teams are empowered to create singular moments by displaying a strong attention to detail and anticipating our client's needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Be the constant in our buildings by providing attentive warm greetings to clients and their guest within our lobbies and amenity spaces.

  • Be well versed on all aspects of the Rockefeller Center Campus and/or select building as well as Tishman Speyer as a company; be confidante in sharing the respective narratives.

  • Further foster the relationships between our clients by partnering with our Property Management teams to build lasting community within our buildings.

  • Actively participate in daily client interactions within the lobbies and/or amenity spaces.

  • Provide support to our security and other lobby team members by reinforcing our hospitality values and ensuring client service standards are met.

  • Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork by working collaboratively with peers to identify positive solutions to problems or issues. Be open and receptive to changing needs and priorities.

  • Ensure continuous improvement in quality of client experiences by seeking feedback from clients on ZO. programing and services; provide improvements accordingly.

  • Provide clients with ZO. platform information and assist with onboarding new and existing clients onto the "FINDYOURZO" app.

  • Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobbies and amenity spaces.

  • Assist with new member training by positively supporting successful performance and giving respectful peer coaching as need.

  • Demonstrate ownership of job responsibilities through an attention to detail with the goal of elevating the client/guest experience in every interaction.

  • Consistently log all activity within designated space ensuring communication is delivered though out the company.

What we look for:

  • Maintain a warm and engaging attitude at all times

  • At least one year previous hotel or restaurant experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • The position requires standing

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure with a variety of people, handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Computer operations experience (keyboarding skills)

  • Must possess an aptitude for guest service and have a cheerful, positive attitude

  • Must be fluent in English

  • Due to the nature of this role and its responsibilities, the employee must report to the work location during scheduled work hours

Overnight shift: 10:30 pm-7:00 am Job Description Greet all building occupants in a professional manner and ensure security and safety for all. * Register and assign rooms to guest of the hotel facility, Call to the building occupant to announce the person(s) who are visiting/delivering to the apartment. * Create reservations per guest requests and availability. Verify customers' credit and establish how the customer will pay for the accommodations. * Handle all incoming calls, including guest and tenant requests, reservations and call forwarding. * Coordinate and assist with move ins and move outs. * Maintain key log and all applicable data sheets. Distribute and control inventory of gym passes. * Issue guest passes and log all guests into building management program. * Provide administrative assistance with resident files, ledger cards which may include information regarding current employment, vehicle and emergency information. * Assist with package deliveries for hotel guests and residents. Log receipts of packages delivered and notify guests and residents they are available for pickup. Confirm and control petty cash. * Provide neighborhood and NYC information to guests and residents when requested. * Compute bills, collect payments (or authorize credit) and make change for guests. Confirm shift collection totals and prepare clerk deposit envelope. * Perform simple bookkeeping activities, such as balancing cash accounts * Issue room keys and escort instructions to various team members and building occupants * Review accounts and charges with guests during the check-out process * Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance staff or management when guests report problems. * Communicate with service companies when technical issues (cable TV, internet, property software) arise when no manager is on duty. * Confirm following day's departures. * Perform opening and closing procedures during appropriate shift. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Overnight shift: 10:30 pm-7:00 am KEY COMPETENCIES 1.
