Hospitality Aide
Hours | Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours/week | 6:30am-3pm

Overview:
The Hospitality Aide provides non-direct care support to residents while providing exceptional customer service all residents, family members, co-workers, volunteers, visitors and other service professionals.
What you'll do:
- Transport residents to Activities, Meals, and other areas as requested
- Answers call lights and provides support within the scope of the Hospitality role
- Provides 1:1 sitting services as requested by clinical staff
- Provides companionship and visit with Residents
- Keep residents' rooms clean and supplied
- Make beds and change bedding as requested by the CENA
- Deliver food trays to resident rooms (along with picking them up)
- Passing of ordered supplements/snacks
- Straightening/cleaning rooms
- Put away delivered supplies in stock room
- Remove trash from patient rooms and pantry throughout and at the end of each shift
- Label patient clothing
- Empty linen carts- taking to soiled utility room
- Cleaning resident equipment (lifts, vitals machines, etc.)
- Cleaning of wheelchairs
- Ensure linen rooms/patient rooms are stocked with towels, etc. as needed
- Maintains confidentiality in relation to all residents, healthcare staff and documentation in accordance with policy and state regulations
- Maintains and enhances skill through attending appropriate training
- Appearance is professional and complies with the dress code
- Maintains a cooperative manner towards residents, families and all members of the health care team.
What it takes:
- Ability to read, write, understand and carry out directions.
- Experience providing support in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform job related duties which may require lifting, standing, bending, stretching, walking, pushing, and pulling.
