  • Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required

  • Current CPR certification required

  • IV certification required if required by state regulations

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system

  • BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation

  • Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required

Licensed Practical Nurses at the Dester Center serve as integral members of the program's clinical staff and are responsible for the following: * Serving as an onsite / on campus nurse for the program and its clients * Delivering high quality practical nursing services and patient care to children and adolescents * Conducting nursing assessments, monitoring client's health and administering medications, within scope of practice * Ensuring patients receive quality practical nursing, medical and health care * Accurately documenting care * Serving as a contributing member of a multidisciplinary treatment team * Collaborating with a wide array of clinical and ancillary professionals A full-time LPN position is currently available on the second shift position with regular work schedule from 2:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This position offers a competitive compensation rate and comprehensive benefits.
