Manufacturing Technicians perform inventory management in a highly regulated environmentfrom providing customer service to organizations ordering blood product through shipment of finished goods to area hospitals. Successful Manufacturing Technicians will have a strong attention to detail, a customer-service focus and the ability to treat both internal and external customers with compassion at all times.

  • Store and distribute blood products/samples according to applicable FDA, AABB, CLIA, NRC and Red Cross policies and procedures. Meet the quality and quantity production and distribution goals established by the department. Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.

  • Operate, maintain and perform quality control checks on equipment. Ensure adequate inventory of required supplies.

  • Perform data entry and operate the computer programs associated with component production, labeling, storage, and shipping.

  • Maintain accurate, legible and complete manufacturing department records.

  • Ensure products/samples are suitable for release for distribution and are managed appropriately.

  • Identify and quarantine products/samples that don't meet quality requirements. Perform disposition of unacceptable products/samples.

  • Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspection and information provided from other departments to meet time requirements and quality standards.

  • Perform good inventory management practices throughout the manufacturing and shipping process.

  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical inventory locations for products/samples.

  • Participate in training of staff.

  • Perform review of manufacturing records.

  • May make hospital deliveries.

  • Remain flexible to work a variable schedule that includes weekends & holidays, to meet the needs of our hospitals

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Two year experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Position may require a valid driver's license

  • Physical requirements may include standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. The ability to lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds. You may work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time.

SECURITY GUARD II Primary Responsibilities: CTC is seeking a part-time Security Guard II to provide comprehensive security services. The successful candidate will: * Guard against fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized access to facilities. * Respond and investigate alarms to determine cause and summons law enforcement and/or other assistance as needed. * Patrol buildings and grounds; examines doors, windows and gates to ensure they are secure. * Verify identification of employees or visitors. * Assist employees with access to facilities, parking, and other security-related issues. * Enforce security and EHS policies. * Note and report security procedure violations. * Maintain records and completes incident reports. * In an emergency, assist with building evacuation, renders aid and assists responding forces. Basic Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Three years' experience as a security official, law enforcement officer, or relevant experience in the US Armed Forces. * Ability to perform moderate work exerting up to 50 pounds of force and lifting or carrying objects weighing 30 pounds. * Ability to set alarm codes, maintains reports, and conduct inspections. * Ability to apply principles of logical thinking and reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Basic math, language, writing and reading skills. * Maintain a valid driver's license * Ability to operate a short wave radio and basic firefighting equipment. * Ability to lift and transport objects of at least 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
