Job Description

Our client company, a very rapidly-growing international pharmaceuticals firm, is looking for aHospital Sales Repfor its Los Angeles area territory. The primary responsibility of this position is to travel the assigned territory and call on the acute care setting to improve sales and maintain existing business. The territory is the greater LA area including Thousand Oaks, Long Beach, Santa Barbara, as well as the state of Hawaii. The company offers competitive pay with uncapped bonuses, fantastic benefits, and a good monthly car package.

To be considered for an interview, candidates must have:

  • A 4 year degree
  • Experience selling to hospitals, preferably to hospitals
  • 3+ years of solid, proven sales success within pharmaceutical sales

ADAY IN THE LIFE - POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide educated and knowledgeable case support to assigned accounts through direction from the District Manager to which they are assigned. * Works directly with the Regional Manager to strategically identify targets and opportunities. * Answer questions and provide technical expertise on the safe and effective use of products for the customer. * Be a resource within the assigned territory and region to ensure that opportunities for case coverage are met. * Be a product expert within the territory and for the customer during case support activities. * Understands the full use of the products in the appropriate types of cases and is able to encourage additional use of Medtronic products within a case where clinically appropriate. * Responsible for achieving or exceeding the assigned quota * Conducts all business with customers in a manner that adheres to healthcare compliance guidelines & FDA Guidelines. * Time and territory management goals are met * Grow business substantially in territory MUSTHAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THEFOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME * 10+ years medical industry experience (sellingphysician preference products) in hospital setting with 8 years selling tointerventional cardiology &/or radiology, hospital/Cath Lab setting;vascular surgery or EP NICETO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science * Experience in a highly Customer focused, competitive selling environment, medical sales are preferred * Technical aptitude and interest in medical device sales career path * Strong clinical knowledge and aptitude * Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in a live, case setting * Quickly builds rapport with clinical aptitude * Detail oriented with the ability to provide inventory administration * Works well within a team and receives daily direction PHYSICALJOB REQUIREMENTS: * The physical demands described within theResponsibilities section of this job description are representative of thosethat must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functionsof this job.
