Hospital Finance Manager

Genesis10 is seeking a Finance Manager for a Direct Hire with our client in Staten Island, NY. Onsite four (4) days a week.

Job Overview: Our client is seeking a Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Director, responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the medical center. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, cost accounting, and efficient revenue cycle management to support the hospital’s mission of providing exceptional patient care.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA with a focus on finance (desired). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) desired. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, with a focus on budgeting, cost accounting, and reporting in a hospital setting.

Experience creating budgets for an entire hospital; not just one department. Experience analyzing entities such as Physician Network, ACO, and Foundations to create a consolidated budget from all the departments, etc. Experience with Performa analysis (new service lines, new acquisition, providers/physicians etc., profitability analysis) Demonstrated proficiency in creating reports with financial software and tools, including accounting systems (experience with Strata, Net suite, or similar systems is highly desired) Experience with revenue cycle management and compliance in a hospital environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Compensation: Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
