Hospitality Operations Coordinator Overview

Stay Alfred is looking for a motivated Hospitality Operations Coordinator to join our growing team! This is one of our most hands-on roles. For someone excited about providing a great guest experience in the Cleveland area, it's a great opportunity. As a Hospitality Operations Coordinator, you will support the City Manager and the day to day operations of the units in our cities. The right candidate will have an eagerness to learn and will enjoy the challenges that come along with a rapid growth and change environment. Primary Duties and

Responsibilities:

  • Live by and champion our cultural values: Happy, Hungry, Honest, High-Performing, Humble and H-Loyal
  • Ensure our vacation rentals are kept to quality, cleanliness, and maintenance standards
  • Perform cleaning, light maintenance, and guest service to ensure an excellent guest experience
  • Physically functioning: standing, walking, bending or reaching, to satisfy guest needs
  • Help develop solutions for guest issues: difficulty with arrival & departure instructions, requests for additional items, wifi connectivity issues, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Stock and track inventory in units and our area storage facilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with building staff, vendors and coworkers
  • Understand our resources and be able to utilize them in an effective manner
  • Communicate the needs of our guests between multiple departments within the company



Qualifications:

  • Independent
    Hospitality / Customer Service Experience
  • Required:
    Shared responsibility being on call: Nights, weekends and holidays to meet guest needs
  • Experience in an independent, self supporting role with limited supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; occasional strenuous pushing/pulling required
  • Candidates must provide reliable transportation for daily activity
  • General understanding of maintenance, housekeeping and concierge/front desk operations

This position works with a high producing apartment brokerage/sales team of 10 in the Cleveland office and would be responsible for the oversight and management on a variety of marketing and communications projects, including but not limited to: 1) Managing schedule and workflow of the entire team 2) Working closely with the 3 senior agents and 4 support staff to ensure materials are well designed and on-brand 3) Overseeing and managing the team to ensure work is completed on time at a high-level of quality 4) Developing marketing campaigns that support and enhance growth of the team 5) Designing marketing brochures/offering memoranda for print and electronic distribution 6) Designing email campaigns and managing the distribution timeline of all assignments 7) Planning and organizing client events, dinners, etc. The position requires an eye for design, detail, precision and fact checking. Must build and maintain positive and professional working relationships with current team members, co-workers and clients. Individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive, customer-focused demeanor, an eye for detail, precision and accuracy as well as the ability to work successfully within a high production volume environment. The individual will be expected to become knowledgeable about the general commercial real estate industry including terminology. This position reports to the 3 senior agents and provides creative leadership and input to both internal and client-facing marketing campaigns. Individual must have experience using a variety of marketing tools including both print and digital media, advertising, email, social media, marketing automation, et al. Desired Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, advertising or business * 7+ years of experience in marketing or communications is required. In-house marketing department or ad agency background is a plus.
