Director, Shelburne, VT, Home Care
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced health care manager to fill the position of Director in our Hospice Programs office in the Shelburne, VT area. As a Director you will be responsible for the management and operations of the office, including budgeting, fiscal management, and recruiting, marketing and business development. You will monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by your staff to ensure compliance and client satisfaction while ensuring adequate staff education, training and evaluation. You will mentor and support your team, and grow your office by keeping abreast of industry and community trends and referral opportunities. Responsibilities for Hospice Director include:
Marketing and Program Development
Planning and budgeting
Developing and executing a recruitment plan
Mentoring and developing office staff
Monitoring quality and appropriateness of services provided
Assuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Assuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Ensuring hospice personnel stay current with clinical information & practices
Becoming proficient in electronic medical records system
Participate in on-call and triage as needed
Qualifications for Hospice Associate Director include:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum of 2 years hospice experience
Minimum of 2 years verifiable supervisory/management experience in hospice, healthcare, or social service industry
Strong relationship building and marketing skills
Demonstrated commitment to serving others
Passion for focusing on hospice care
Certification in hospice and palliative care preferred, but not required.
Excellent planning, organization, and presentation skills are critical.
