Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse 

We are seeking a Hospice Admissions Nurse (RN) for a full-time opportunity with our team in San Diego, California!

Compensation Package:

• Up to $60 Per Hour (Based on Experience)

Requirements:

• RN Licensed in the State of California
• 1+ Years of RN Experience- Ideally in the Hospice Setting
• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Utilizing Kinser- Training Offered
• Spanish Speaking Individual Preferred but NOT Required
• Maintains a current CPR and BLS certification
• Current and Active Driver's License
• Must Have a Compassionate and Can-Do Attitude

Responsibilities:

• Friday through Sunday 8 AM to 8 PM
• Completes an initial, comprehensive and ongoing assessments of patient and family to determine hospice needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es).
• Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of nursing process.
• Assesses and evaluates patient’s status by Writing and initiating plan of care
• Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process.
