HOS OTC Site Lead

The HOS OTC Site Leader reports directly to the Site Leader at the Groveport OH DC and has a functional or matrix reporting line to the SPS HOS Tier 5 Region Manager. This position supports to ensure a systematic approach to the development, implementation and sustainability of HOS OTC is deployed in the Groveport DC. Training plans and team support are essential for the ownership of the systems and programs associated with HOS OTC for the operations team. This role will be responsible
for creation of the HOS OTC site deployment plans and will ensure that the all requirements are understood and met. You will need to be able to travel occasionally.
Create an environment that fosters standardized work in a surrounding of trust, respect and involvement. Enable people to create standardized work using a teach-and-learn approach.
Enforce adherence to the resulting work standardization.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain or related technical field; in lieu of a bachelor's degree we will consider candidates with 10 years of operations leadership or process improvement experience.
Minimum of 3 years' experience and training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing techniques or equivalent.
Significant cross-functional ISC experience which includes distribution, manufacturing, materials management, quality and process improvements, developing a strong knowledge of site logistics processes.
Proven experience and working knowledge of Toyota Production System or similar benchmark lean manufacturing system is strongly preferred
Strong ability to lead, motivate and influence others to achieve HOS goals and objectives in diverse work environments
Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills
Mature judgment and decision-making ability, with strategic and tactical HOS experience
Exceptional skills in building interpersonal relationships, including high degree of tact, diplomacy, engagement, and ability to positively influence
Effectively interfaces with employees at all organizational levels. Excellent interpersonal skills (training/presentation, leadership coaching, facilitation, team collaboration, communication)
Experience participating in audits and implementing HOS management systems
