Job Purpose

The purpose of the Sales Analyst position is to support the zone field office within the Auto Sales division. The Sales Analyst will train to potentially become a Honda Sales Representative in the future. This position plays a key role in Zone sales operations and provides support for our dealer network, zone management, corporate headquarters, and field staff.

Key Accountabilities

• Generating management reports, creating presentations, handling special projects, and conducting sales analysis

• Providing support to zone management in all dealer meetings and zone communication

• Training to potentially become a Honda Sales Representative and learn behind the scenes of our sales operations

• Complete assigned training (e.g. Product Knowledge Training, Allocation, Dealership Financial Statement Analysis, and Sales Training)

• Support the Region Achieve New Honda Vehicle, Certified Pre-owned, and Market Share Objectives

• Support Regional team with Ownership Transfer Packages, New Dealer Packages, Dealer Relocation Packages, Open Point Packages and LOI Completion

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance or Marketing

• 0-2 years of work experience plus sales/customer service experience

• Prior experience in the retail/wholesale industry, preferably automotive

• Knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis preferred

• A passion for the automotive industry

• Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential

• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent organizational and communication skills required

• Position requires travel as well as possible nights and weekends

• Future relocation is required
