The homes & style director works closely with the executive editor and editor-in-chief to determine and oversee the aesthetic linked so closely with the CL brand.
What you'll do:
Manage and mentor the market & style team.
Produce and write decorating and homes content across all platforms.
Oversee licensing partnerships in the homes/style categories.
Work on special projects with the advertising and marketing teams.
Manage the design process for CL products.
Establish and maintain relationships with designers who share CL's unique look.
Attend photo shoots as needed both locally and in locations across the U.S.
Brainstorm cover concepts and oversee execution.
Cover key home markets.
Who you are:
You can't get enough of the Instagram rabbit hole and follow any and all accounts from top designers to up-and-coming makers across the country.
You appreciate a good vintage collection.
You have experience writing clear, concise, and catchy copy, from captions to headlines.
You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and paint a photo backdrop on set.
You are a self-starter with enthusiasm for all things home and a team player who can keep up in a fast-paced environment.
You have strong time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills, and-above all-are fun(!) with a positive and professional attitude.
You have at least eight years of experience in the homes (or other related) editorial field.
