Hours: Part-Time/32 hours (This is a benefits eligible position.)

Position Summary:

The Homecare Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the department in designated projects and works well with a team to help achieve the goals of Homecare and Hospice.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to assist the department in all related office support activities to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of patient care and service.

• Trains for cross coverage to fulfill back up support for office processes - scheduling, responding to telephone inquiries and other duties as assigned.

• Maintains a professional, helpful and friendly attitude with patients and co-workers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.

• Must have strong computer and organizational skills, attention to detail and be a team player with good interpersonal skills.

• Must have excellent communication skills with knowledge of telephone etiquette

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with healthcare and medical terminology

• Previous EPIC experience
