Homecare Aide / Caregiver For Adult Quadriplegic

Will be assisting an adult Quadriplegic with basic patient care activities which include toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, ambulating, personal hygiene, transferring patient using motorized ceiling lift and other patient needs. This includes very basic suprapubic catheter care (changing drainage bags), bowel stimulation as well as digital stool removal.

No experience required, although it does help. Just a willingness to learn. Patient is very experienced in training/walking new aides through the routine, is knowledgeable about all the cares provided and is very patient as you learn. Training and equipment provided on site.

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $26 per hour.

*The patient is the employer, but uses a state-mandated third-party agency to conduct payroll, so all hired will need to fill out the typical paperwork for employment (W-4 forms, I-9 verification..etc)

Evening shift 8pm - up to 3 hours

Morning shift 8am -9 am

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old

Current driver’s license, insurance & reliable transportation

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in home health or hospice

Homecare Aide bowel care experience

CNA Certification
