  • Starting Pay: $.53 to $.56 per practical mile, depending on experience

  • Days on the road: 6

  • Home Time: 1 day off for every 6 days out

  • Primary Operating Area: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia

  • Fleet Type: Company, Dedicated

  • Job Type: Dry Van

Qualifications

  • Minimum 22 years old

The Opportunity: Dry Kiln Technicians are responsible for measuring the moisture content of the lumber using various techniques and make the proper adjustments to the temperature, humidity and ventilation of the kilns to ensure the product reaches its specific moisture content requirements. Our technicians also maintain records and assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment in addition to loading and unloading lumber. Requirements: * Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner * Available to work all shifts including days, nights and weekends * Completion of grade 12, a GED or a minimum of 2 years related work experience, or equivalent training (eg.
