Are you passionate about serving customers? We are searching for a polite, professional Home Mortgage Customer Service Representative to provide outstanding service to our customers by answering questions and researching issues related to our customers' mortgage loans. The Customer Service Representative must be able to handle a high volume of inbound calls and create a positive experience for each customer. They will listen to customers to understand the reason for their call, address all questions or expressions of dissatisfaction, and provide an accurate and efficient response. To be a successful Home Mortgage Customer Service Representative, you should be customer-focused, detail oriented, and efficient. You should be polite, reliable, knowledgeable, and adaptable.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Processes transactions, accurately record and update actions and outcomes against customer records

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to resolve routine customer issues

  • Accurately complete all customer follow-up work

  • Maintain knowledge of products services and promotions

  • Adherence to schedule

  • Attention to detail

  • Technical/functional expertise
    QualificationsRequired Skills/Experience:

  • Positive and customer-focused mindset

  • Strong listening and problem solving abilities, persistent enthusiasm when interacting with customers

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Computer proficiency
    Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Call center experience
    Hours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

VIEW JOBS 3/26/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-24T00:00 Description The Loan Purchase Specialist is responsible for providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance. They are also responsible for reviewing closed loans delivered for purchase to the FAMC Correspondent Lending Division. The review consists of determining loan eligibility and compliance to FAMC and Agency product guidelines. The Loan Purchase Specialists is the primary liaison to the Correspondent Lender and the multiple FAMC teams reviewing and placing conditions on loans. Use Company systems (including LOS, Blackbird, and FHA Connection) to review loans for compliance to FAMC, Agency, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines and perform loan level data entry into Company systems on each loan reviewed to determine purchase eligibility while meeting production and quality standards Distribute suspense notifications to Lenders and facilitate the clearing of conditions by multiple loan review teams Communicate with Lenders to answers questions, explain guidelines, and resolve loan level suspensions while demonstrating outstanding customer service levels Proactively manage pipeline by working with Lenders on aged loans to ensure seasoning guidelines and turn times are met Act as the primary liaison between the Correspondent Lender and the multiple FAMC teams reviewing and placing conditions on loans such as Compliance Review, QM Review, Underwriting, Pre-Purchase Review, Collateral Review, and other internal departments by facilitating the union of department to Lender and providing feedback, as needed Participate in regular team meetings regarding trends, training, and updates to policies and procedures Provide accurate weekly suspense reports to Management Other duties as reasonably assigned. Qualifications College degree preferred. 1-2+ years' experience in a mortgage banking environment preferred. Knowledge of Agency, FHA, USDA, and VA guidelines preferred Excellent data entry/10 key skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail. Strong customer service Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to prioritize multiple projects with specific deadlines. Ability to interact with all levels of individuals, both internal and external. Professional dress and demeanor. Regular in-person attendance. Must demonstrate commitment, dependability and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule.
