At Regions, the Home Loan Direct (HLD) Sales Quality & Performance Support Coach role supports consistent execution of the Direct to Consumer Sales, Service and Coaching Process by partnering with production managers to observe the process in action and then provide feedback through consultative guidance. The goal of the position is to achieve company-wide overall sales effectiveness and provide guidance for proper sales practices, while ensuring the proper onboarding and continued support of mortgage loan originators.
Acts as subject matter expert for the direct to consumer sales, service and coaching process with a strong focus on branch partnerships
Compiles best practices and shares through various communication methods
Manages the new hire onboarding process, ensuring the consistent delivery of developmental training materials and opportunities
Provides feedback and creates plans for overall individual loan officer effectiveness
Conducts quality assessments of sales call activities, performed by associates, and provides appropriate coaching solutions
Partners with production managers to ensure Mortgage Loan Originators are following Regions' Needs Based Approach and are using approved scripting and resources
Invests in the success of retail organization and other partners by investigating barriers and opportunities to referral partnership success (both to and from Home Loan Direct)
Provides guidance and shares best practices with other business segments for sales process approach for their products, programs and initiatives
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and optimization including redesign, and development of new process/policies
Analyzes and identifies possible sales, service and coaching impacts for upcoming policy, product, or procedure changes
Partners with Corporate Learning and Development for creation of and / or updates to materials, job aids, courses (online and in person) and process overviews, and other materials to ensure consistency with the process
Develops tools, resources and job aids to drive the sales and coaching process
Fosters a productive sales environment and partners with the production managers to establish and inspect routines that will optimize opportunities to deliver the Regions 360 approach
Works harmoniously with Home Loan Direct and retail leadership to provide best in class customer and employee experience
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and five (5) years mortgage sales and/or mortgage sales management experience OR
High school diploma or GED and seven (7) years related experience
Travel up to 50%
