Overview
Shepherd of the Valley's home health agency is looking to hire PT Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide various levels of assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own home. Our openings are wide spread varying between mornings, afternoons and evenings. Some shifts are 4-5 hours in length with same patient.

Responsibilities
Establish strong rapport with clients
Follow the client's care plan and provide excellent care
Accurately documents services performed and of apparent condition of client.
Assist with activities
Provide personal care
Help with medication reminders
Assists clients into and out of bed, automobile, or wheelchair, to lavatory, and up and down stairs.
Performs variety of miscellaneous duties as requested such as obtaining household supplies and running errands.
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must exhibit competency to perform duties as a Home Health Aide according to agency policy evidenced by verbal, written, and demonstration skills.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of auto insurance.
Must Must have a clean criminal background
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of auto insurance.
Must be a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) in Ohio.
