What Will You Do?

As a Home Health- Health Information Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of care to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and managing Home Health medical record documentation with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Completing data entry of clinical information accurately and efficiently.

  • Conducting quality control reviews of documentation to uphold our standards of excellence.

  • Collaborating with clinicians to address any missed or questionable items promptly.

  • Managing the physician order process to facilitate timely care delivery.

  • Coordinating with the billing coordinator to ensure the timely release of billing claims, thus streamlining administrative processes.

What Do You Need for This Role?

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Certification in diagnosis coding and OASIS (COS-O) within 3 years of employment.

  • Oasis or Coding Experience (Highly Preferred)

  • Home Health Experience

  • Quality Assurance Experience

  • Two years of office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, to bring valuable insights and expertise to the role.

  • Proficiency in using Word and Excel, enabling you to navigate digital platforms effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail, allowing you to identify errors or omissions in documentation and address them proactively.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, as occasional travel may be required to fulfill job duties.
