Home Care Nurse (RN Or Lpn)

Location: Gloucester, MA

Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Massachusetts

You will be providing impeccable care to a couple by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. Please note we are searching for either an LPN or RN for this case.

SHIFT: MON--SUN 10A-10P or 10P-10A

Responsibilities

• Providing services in accordance with policies and procedures and regulations that define scope of practice

• Prepares clinical and progress notes on the relevant and specialized nursing services he/she provides

• Preparing equipment and materials for treatment, adhering to aseptic techniques as required

• Assisting the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques as required

• Assessing patient/family response to care

• Ensuring communication of information to appropriate team members

• Administering insulin

• Accompanying the clients to doctor appointments

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, currently active and in good standing

• Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are strict requirements

• Must have driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work

• Comfortable with dogs
