ABRAMSON HOMECARE has openings in it's thriving Bala Cynwyd, PA office.

Current Openings:

  • Per Diem Days, Evening, and Overnights: (up to 40 hours a week, valid certification required, driving is not required)

  • Live In Caregivers

  • Weekend caregivers: (Every weekend or every other weekend)

  • Full Time Leads: (40 hours per week, driving is required, 1+ years experience, non restrictive availability)

Caregivers are invited to join an award winning organization that strives to provide exceptional care for its clients. Caregivers can expect to work 100% in the field providing care in patients homes throughout the Main line, Delaware County, and North East Philadelphia. Driving is not required, however caregivers are expected to provide reliable transportation arrangements.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping the adult and geriatric population. Exceptional customer service skills is REQUIRED. Essential Functions

  • Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but not limited to) personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, bathing, grooming etc.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy patient/client environment.

  • Additional responsibilities may include reinforcement of dressings, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, taking vital signs, etc.

  • Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Valid Pennsylvania HHA or C.N.A Certification required.

  • One year Home Care experience is required.

  • Annual Physical, flu shot, and 2 Step PPD required.

  • Reliable transpiration is required ( Driver or Public Transit).

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.

The LPN provides direct nursing care to home care patients within the scope of practice for LPNs. Follows the Plan of Care (POC) established by the RN and the Interdisciplinary Team for patients. 1. Planning: At subsequent visits to patient and family, follows established plan of care (POC) developed by the RN and understands the process for changing the POC according to the patient and family needs. To do so, the LPN will communicate the needs to the RN who will generate a verbal order to the physician for changes to the POC as needed. 2. Implementation and coordination of services: Follows the appropriate preventative and palliative nursing procedures according to the Nurse Practice Act for LPNs. 3. Improvement of care: Reviews the POC with the RN and RN Team Manager and updates or revises the POC under the direction of the RN to address current patient/family needs.
