Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The Program Facilitator is responsible for co-leading HMRE programs in the assigned counties. On occasion, facilitators may also be requested to teach in any of the 12 counties within the service area.
Facilitators will be assigned to teach groups by the program coordinator. Facilitators may also be asked to complete home visits with recruited families to share information about the program and collect program related information to facilitate each family's participation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Ability to effectively communicate with at-risk individuals and couples; Ability to effectively present to, teach, and engage a class/group; Ability to plan and implement necessary program components; Ability to implement procedures in compliance with research protocols; Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic word processing and data entry skills; have exceptional organization skills and a high level of initiative.
Demonstrate professional behavior; work as a team member with HMRE staff and partners; involves evening and weekend work, travel throughout the assigned area and attendance at overnight out-of-town meetings and trainings. Driver's license, insurance and personal vehicle for official duty travel.

Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for co-leading HMRE programs in the assigned counties. This includes: time spent at trainings and meetings learning the program curricula in accordance with established protocols; maintaining confidentiality of participants' information collected for research purposes, as defined by the UGA IRB policies; evaluating program implementation and working with project staff to resolve problems; insuring that participant attendance and other information is reported accurately; and, completing administrative and quality assurance paperwork. Conduct home visits with recruited families to share information about the program and collect program related information to facilitate each family's participation.
