More efficiency. Less waste. Create a new kind of industrial engineering and drive business growth by devising ongoing improvements to production capacity with local and regional suppliers.
Working closely with colleagues within Sourcing, Business, Assortment, Brands, and Supply Chain teams, and external suppliers, you're responsible for determining our Standard Minute Value (SMV) and General Sewing Data (GSD) to ensure that production targets are achievable, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place. But as technical as that is, in reality it's a hybrid role.
Half technical expert, half consultant, you pair a thorough knowledge of industrial engineering with expertise in lean and six-sigma. The idea is to improve efficiency and productivity by working closely with our supply partners to conduct time studies, establish and manage costing databases and work content analysis. Driving suppliers in the same direction is a nuanced job so your communication skills will need to be as finely tuned as your entrepreneurial spirit in order to achieve shared business goals.
