Job Description Job Description Description: Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the HIV Program Coordinator will be responsible for online educational initiatives, training and technical assistance development and delivery, technology platforms used to deliver training and technical assistance, materials and resources, continuing education accreditation and communications with other teams within The Fenway Institute (TFI) and Fenway Health (FH). The HIV Program Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Education and Training Programs for programmatic design and content-related aspects of the position.

Project Description: The National LGBTQIA Health Education Center (Ed Center) provides educational programs, resources, and consultation to healthcare organizations with the goal of increasing access to and optimizing quality, cost-effective health care for LGBTQIA people. The center offers online and in-person trainings, individualized technical assistance and publications for all health center staff on topics such as SO/GI data collection, effective communication, improving clinical outcomes for LGB and transgender patients, behavioral health and HIV prevention.

Representative Duties: Coordinates HIV Objective Activities for the National LGBTQIA Health Education Center Coordinates development of learning collaboratives including curriculum development, facilitating planning calls with expert faculty, participant recruitment and onboarding, facilitation of sessions and post-session survey collection and analysis. Coordinates and facilitate national webinars including faculty recruitment, promotion and collection of post-session surveys.

Coordinates updates to PrEP Action Kit and any other HIV related publications. Coordinates weekly calls with relevant stakeholders to check-in on HIV programmatic activities. Coordinates logistics for and attends meetings with health centers and other partners.

Works with Program Manager and Director to create training content for individualized trainings for each partner organization. Works with Data Analyst on post-training evaluation collection and reporting process. Ensures all deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Coordinates NEAETC grant deliverables Coordinates development of webinars and publications. Attends monthly meetings as Fenway representative. Develops monthly reports (for months with activities). Maintains LEAPP site.

Maintains Software and Applications Platforms Identifies, implements and maintains the software and applications used by the Ed Center to deliver training and education, collect and distribute information, communicate with constituents, and manage day-to-day activities. In collaboration with other team members, develops and uploads content to the appropriate websites, applications, and social media sites. Works with funders and constituent organizations to deliver training and technical assistance materials as needed.

Meets Agency Participatory Expectations Adheres to all agency and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested. Adheres to established safety policies, procedures and precautions.

Attends all required meetings, in-services and professional trainings. Maintains professional competence necessary to perform job responsibilities; maintain and provide agency with records of continuing education activities. Serves on agency committees and in professional organizations when requested.

Maintains own professional growth Enhances current knowledge of HIV and LGBTQIA health research by reading medical journals, articles and other HIV and LGBTQIA related publications, attending conferences, seminars, forums, trainings and other available presentations. Performs other related duties as required Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required Minimum of three years of related work experience Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse communities, particularly people with HIV, communities of color and LGBTQIA communities LGBTQIA identified persons, and persons of color are strongly encouraged to apply Demonstrated presentation skills Demonstrated competency with PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel Demonstrated ability to manage and follow through on projects in a timely fashion Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize assigned duties Ability to work independently and in small groups Ability to travel as needed Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required.
