Position Description:

JCC anticipates a part-time opening for an instructor for Spring 2019 in World History on the Cattaraugus County Campus. Dates and times may be flexible dependent on instructor availability.


Required: Masters Degree (or higher) in history earned within the past 10 years with a B average or better, or a Masters Degree (or higher) in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in history, including mandatory coursework in non-western history, historiography, and historical methods and theory.

Preferred: Three years teaching experience (or more) in World History or a related field. Online teaching experience will also be considered.

Additional Information:

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Final candidates are subject to a pre-employment criminal background investigation.
